Message from Mr. Mihai Busuioc, President of the Romanian Court of Accounts, with the occasion of the 155th anniversary of the Romanian Court of Accounts (High Court of Accounts)

Today, 155 years after the establishment of the High Court of Accounts, the thought leads me to the importance of this institution for the Romanian state and for each individual citizen.

January 24th has a special connotation for us Romanians, a meaning that reminds us through our history that great things are done only together. All the more so today, on our anniversary, we must be a united team and support each other in order to fully fulfill our constitutional mission.

I strongly believe that each of us represents a part of the living history of this traditional institution, fundamental for a functional democracy and, on this occasion, I wish a lot of success in the activity of all members of the Romanian Court of Accounts and all its staff.
